I hear you Woz, I hear you. But if you 'don't keep up' it could get darned expensive..

Yep. The game wardens EXPECT you to KNOW what changes have been made online!

Ya, but that's fair. Either on line, or just make a phone call.

As an example (no changes here on the Rogue) water flow can go to next to nothing, what-ever, and someone has to make a 'decision,' and how to communicate same. Internet works, if you pay attention?

:>)

Many reg changes are the result of the public asking for them.

Ahhhh, there are two types of Regulation changes: Those that get discussed with the Public (the meetings are going on now if memory serves), and those that are situationally driven over the course of the season. These could include early closures, extended seasons, change in bag limits, stream closure due to poor returns, low water flows, etc.

The first group will show up in the Game Regs (printed in Oct-November?) for the coming year The second group could happen any time. Only way you'll know is to go onto the Game Dept web site and look up the 'Region.'

Recommend everyone 'bookmark' the link above and refer to it any time you're considering fishing. OSP doesn't care if you know or not .... they just write the ticket.

Or, sign up for email notifications and you will be alerted to any change when it occurs.

Indeed! That's how/where I got my original link. Full water Statewide report comes out two/three times per month. From the waters I know, the description(s) of what's going on is quite accurate.
