Hello all, I am new to this site but not new to fishing. I really don’t know my way around this forum and I not exactly sure where best to post this, so I try here.

I live here in central Oregon and I’m interested in finding a few fellow anglers who want to split the cost of fuel and split the fun of hooking fish.

I often head out alone but it’s often a handful to be both the skipper and Gilligan. Hence this offer I am extending.

Since leaving the valley and salmon / steelhead fishing behind some years ago, my focus has been about sorting out the best opportunities available here in CO.

I target Trout, Kokanee, and Bass basically.

My techniques include long line trolling with assorted gear, jigs, bait, spinners, and fly.

To date here are a list of waters I fish from my boat:

Ochoco, Prineville, Simtustus, Billy Chinook, Haystack, Suttle, East Lake, Paulina,

Davis, Wickiup, Crane Prairie, Big and little Lava.

Heading a bit west Detroit.

There are more places to the south and East I want to experience especially Diamond, Odell and Wallowa.


Fly and artifical lures:

Crooked River (Below Bowman)

DesChutes mouth at little lava, Tumalo to Klein falls, Lower bridge/ Steelhead falls, and the lower DesChutes ie rattlesnake canyon area.

Clackamas: upper reaches near flats, Collawash, Brightenbush, and the upper Santiam above mill city.

Well this should suffice for my opening post, hopefully I’ll get a bite from some interested anglers, void of big egos…

I don’t drink or get intoxicated while on the water. As a “guest” I can condone such but depending on behaviors, I may not invite you back. Just getting that out there early.

Oh yeah, my magic carpet is a 17.5 bass tracker.

I'd be thrilled to hitch a ride with you, and troll Detroit for bows/kokes. The week of May 12th will get 12,000 "trophy trout". The following week 7K more; and the last week of May another 8K.

Last June we got into those trophy trout BIG TIME! We had a big tribe, at a private camp ground, and EVERYONE caught several fish each. So, I'd love to hit it again. I know right where to find them.

P.S. I don't drink either. And am willing to help with the cost, share my gear/bait, etc.

Ok then, let’s go get em.
Week of… the 12th is the dump. 16/17 works best on this end. Am willing to consider starting early on the 16th and staying over for the morning / afternoon bite. I’ll look into securing a lake side campsite for a no fuss start on the 17th. (Unless you have a better location)

Bring your mod superpowers if you like. I’’m confident the fish liar side sonar will help us find and murder them.

Let’s sort out specific as the date gets closer
