Fished Trillium today and didn't see any fish caught except for a small rainbow my wife caught at the boat ramp. Should be stocked this week sometime.
Cheers:cool:

Fun place if you take the time to hike and fish around the lake. I have better luck getting away from the main ramp. The hike is easy and you can find some nice places to just have a quiet lunch sometimes.

Congrats to the wife!

Heading out there tomorrow, hope to get some good ones! Thanks for the heads up.

I've been really wanting to catch my first trout. I've fished the clackamas a bunch in the past couple weeks. Is Trillium Lake a good spot for trout fishing? I have a 10 foot raft too so I'd be able to go out on the Lake, not just fishing from the shore. What other fish are in Trillium Lake? Blue Gill? Crappie? Catfish? Carp? Thanks guys!

CARP. Hey OTF is this why you planned the Trillium Get together??

I don't know about any other species other than trout. I suspect not much else can survive a winter in there, but who knows? Trillium is non motorized but small enough that it's great for rafts etc. Just fish it early in the morning before the wind kicks up.

Jeanna, you need to figure out how to rig a sail on the drifter...it would make it so much easier for you.

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna go to Trillium Lake this Saturday. Plan on getting there about an hour before the sun comes up. I AM going to catch my first trout!! lol
