Went to the slaw above mapleton for some bobber and egg nooks but no luck.Did see fish roll in every hole I fished and seen fresh blood on the rocks in two of the holes.I got thier late so musta missed the bite but there is fish all the way up to the forks in every deeper little pocket and I was watching fish come up through the gauge hole.Little rain and it should be a smackfest now can somebody start the rain dance please.No fish so this was the only pic I got.

Sounds like the rain is around the corner. Maybe next weekend from what I'm hearing.

Dang... not really what I wanted to hear. and especially from you Mike! Ha ha if you can't catch a fish, then nobody can! Ha ha. I was actually thinking about going out around there tomorrow and checking out some spots.... doing the same same bobber /eggs

there was blood on the banks and sperm sacks in the water so go for sure.Remember I was way late and didn't stay till evening bite so missed the prime oppurtunities

From the end of tide all the way up to the forks there is plenty of bank access.There is pull offs and boat ramps and if you use waders give you lot better oppurtuinty but beware as the siuslaw is one of the slickest rivers I have waded in next to the smith.
