New salmon, steelhead, sturgeon endorsement for 2014

Beginning Jan. 1, 2014 anglers fishing for salmon, steelhead or sturgeon in the Columbia River and its tributaries will be required to have a Columbia River Basin endorsement. You can read more about this here!! http://www.dfw.state.or.us/fish/CRP/columbia_river_basin_endorsement.asp

Hey guys! Do you think that the big C and trib. endorsement will have much of an impact on ocean tribs? If so what can thease areas do to limit the fishing pressure. Cut catch limits to even lower numbers or close the seasonal windows and/or limit state harvest by weights? Maybe the coastal towns will get some revenue $$$$ to neutralize the forthcoming pressures. (HA! I think not) Tony
