Decided to quit lurking and finally join up. I've been reading, studying and enjoying these forums for awhile and just want to thank all the posters who have been passing on their knowledge to others. What a great place! :worthy:

No, not originally from Oregon although I have lived in Portland and Albany. My wife and her family are from OR and she still has many relatives there. We visit at least once a year and plan on being back there full time in a year or two.

Thanks for the many friendly "welcome"s. I am really looking forward to getting back to do some more salmon, steelie, and trout fishing. And the albacore are bigger up there too!
