My first steel!

I finally landed my first steelhead! I've been skunked the last 4 years with one spitting the hook out last year. I went 1 for 2 this trip, landing this keeper. Finally have something to show for all the gear I've purchased (and lost)! Small but satisfying! 23" about 5lbs.

I see what you mean now chez, I was lucky caught my first in 6 months.

What to stick with it I hear its suppose to get easyier but I'm not biting lol!

Thank you all! And it was a hen. It probably took me a little longer than usual. I can't get out as much since my kids are still too small to join me for steel and salmon. I've been doing a lot of trout fishing with them though!
