So I got to Trillium around 5:30 and was the first person fishing.
The lake was beautiful and the sun was just starting to show.
I rigged up a new ultralight combo I had just picked up with around 3' of leader and two fluorescent yellow power eggs and gently cast out.
I didn't even get the chance to get all of the slack taken up before Ihad my first fish on.
I was catching (and missing) fish from 1 to 5 min every cast.
I kept 5 of the larger ones and was on my way after all of 70min.
Had I not released some I would have had my limit in 30 min give or take.
A couple of guys who got there after me threw up their hands, laughed and asked what I was using as they were having no luck, so I told them and gave them my partial jar and wished them luck.
I hope they worked for them like they did for me.
I didn't catch any of the big fellas but still had a great time.
So at least for me the fishing at Trillium is great right now.
