Crossed the Columbia River Bar at about 7am today. Made a left turn to head south and dropped some crab pots in 40 feet of water. After that we headed due west to pic up some depth at 140 feet we turned north and began to fish for coho. We had our 10 fish limit by 10:15. To soon to go and retrieve the pots so we stuck around and watch mother natures awesome show. Wales, wales and more wales. I have never seen so many wales at once and it was all happening in the middle of a couple of million birds diving on bait. What a show. Pots with the crab were pulled, not overflowing but ample. Then back across a soft bar and back to the Skipanon slip. Fish pictures later, Wish I had a video of that wale and bird show. Natures large and small animals putting on a performance to remember.
