Monkeyface prickleback

Does anyone know of any areas to poke pole fish for monkey face prickleback fish or other species of fish?

You can poke poke just about any of the jetties at low tide. Poke pole in all of the holes between jetty rocks with squid or shrimp for bait. They are present in Newport at least and any bay with rocky structure south. They may be further north, but that’s the furthest north I’ve targeted them. It’s a blast and they are delicious!!!
