Marshall Island landing

I stopped by and checked out the Marshall Island landing/ramp today; for the first time. It's OFF of River Rd. north of Santa Clara and south of Junction City. Saw a couple of game OFFicers putting in for a run. Glad to see them on the job (it's C & R only / artificial fly, lure only water).

I checked out that launch a couple of weeks ago as well, troutdude.

funny that I also saw some odfw type folks out in a sled. Were the game officers you saw also in a Koffler? Anyway it looks like a nice ramp, but I have never fished there before.

I think it is catch and keep for salmon and steelhead though?

I didn't pay any attention to the type of boat, or even if it was a sled.

You may be right about Nooks and Summers.

CATCH AND KILL! All steelhead fin or not (pretty much none are clipped), and adipose clipped Chinook.

From hiway 99 bridge at Harrisburg down to the mouth of the McKenzie:
"Open for trout (catch & release only), adipose fin-clipped Chinook salmon and adipose
fin-clipped steelhead entire year.
• Angling restricted to artificial flies and lures, as per Zone Regulations
."
It says nothing about non-clipped steelhead.
Don't forget:
Molded soft plastic or rubber imitation worms, eggs, or other imitation baits are considered bait.
The items in bold are directly from the synopsis.
