Mann Lake SE Oregon

A co-worker is going down that way and wanted to know if anybody had any info on how Mann Lake is producing right now.

I think it was poisoned last year, maybe the year prior. Some dumb #$%^ thought it would be nice to put gold fish in there... It used to be an amazing fishery for Lahontan Cutthroat.

Bummer about the poisoning; had not heard of that.

Wow that sucks that someone screwed the lake up.

My dad told me about some trips over to Mann Lake he made in the early '90s, incredible fly fishing.

Apparently there have been a couple restockings of small fish. They anticipate keeper sized fish by this fall. I hope that lake regains its prestige. It's a wonderful area. (Beware of nasty hillbillies at the hotsprings)

Bump... I read the lake is full again after being dry for a couple years, and they are going to re-stock it.
