Fished from the 101 bridge to big bend. 0 for 0, saw 5 or 6 landed. There were plenty of boats.

That's how it goes. Just got to put in the days and eventually, you'll be there for the big bite when there's a net flying out of every boat!

I was there over the weekend, we caught a 20# buck Saturday plus a jack freebie. Today we reeled in a 31# out of shape hog. We seen many fish caught but the bite was all on incoming tides in the cool water below the big bend. Bite lasts about 1hr then dead the next before high slack. Good baits, good water= good fishing
But you have to be right time right place more importantly

Don't feel bad Mark, it's still early. We left my house yesterday in Springfield at 3:13AM. We were the third boat to the ramp. We fished right in with ya, from the bridge to the bend, until 10:30 and never saw net come out.

Majority of fish are still just outside the jaws waiting for that big rain or whatever it will be to push them up. Still just the beginning of the run too! Don't lose hope just yet. It's just now starting to get good. I was on the banks Sunday morning (along with a ton of others) hooked up with a fish in the lower 30s, but in the end he broke free
