Looks like it's going to be a plunking show

Was hoping to catch a winter before the New Year but without any rain and not much in the ten day forecast I might have to break down and join the plunkers at meldrum.:mad:
 
a good friend of mine took one out of there 2 days ago on prawns and watermelon spin n glow. he was only 15 ft from shore
 
I just don't really care for plunking and have never done very good with the low water conditions we are facing right now, we need a good inch of rain to get things going. I have the week between Christmas and New Years OFF and was hoping to put a couple on my tag.
 
well to hell with plunkin then... I got a boat! lets hit the clack!

I can hold 3 in my boat, me plus 2 others. my favorite drift and most productive is carver to riverside.

All right...I'm gonna have to throw out that I'm free all Tuesday :)
 
this week is really bad for me. but I have some spots left on my tag and plan on hitting it pretty hard next week
 
Let me know when you have a day off to fish, and I can bring some cervezas!! But no bano!! BTW I also have tomorrow off so I guess im going coastal!!

I'm thinking coastal myself for tomorrow and am just now trying to form a plan of where. I also greased up internals of a reel that was starting to struggle and constructed a bunch of new hardware. Decisions, decisions...
