I am thinking of fishing this weekend and was wondering if there is any chrome to still be had on the Siletz, Wilson, Trask, or Tucca? If not, maybe the Clackamas if it drops some...Any input would be appreciated thanks..

most rivers are done with winters for the season, might run into a fish headed back out to sea or a wild fish in decent shape but for the most part fish are in the upper rivers in spawning mode.
i think out of all of those the wilson would be the best choice, ive seen pics of chromers caught in april by fly fisherman there. also seen a chrome summer out of the sandy not too long ago so im sure they are in the clack as well.

I would say the wilson would probably be your best bet from what i have seen lately. If the clack drops i would say go for it. might run into something. but yeah winters are winding down and now we are in the waitin mode for summers and springers. Dang rain needs to chill a little :P but then again.... We got a lot of rain last year with a lot of big fish!! So i can stand the rain for another month or sooo

Siletz kicks out late chrome. Know when I was waiting for the rivers to drop the end of April to get into springers, chrome fish were being caught over there last year

I have a friend who has been slaying chromers out of the wilson the last few day ( jobless fisherman). Go hump his leg and get some chrome fish on the dinner table!!! :)

I found some chrome...first time on the nestucca and it paid off with a chrome bright 7 pound hen full of eggs!!! nestuccaSteelie.jpg
