Searched probably 20 miles worth of river yesterday, and around 4:00 p.m., finally found one. Not sure why it was so tough to locate a biter since late December the fish should be everywhere, right? LOL

Doesn't surprise me though....sounds like the run is off to a slow start! I think we all got a little spoiled after the last 2 seasons....might have to work for them this year!

Nice one! Sometimes that's what it takes. I finally hooked into my first (two ) winters of the season myself today after the first 4 trips of getting the skunk . but they both bested me today and got to swim another day... but I can't wait to take one down on a spinner....
