There is good kokanee fishing in Billy Chinook right now. All caught by trolling, but you could do some casting a be successful.

Today marked the 8th Kokanee trip of the season and the most effective. We were fishing in the Metolious Arm and caught two limits in 36 minutes. It was a quick trip. All fish were caught trolling watermelon and chartreuse dodgers and hoochies at 1.2 mph, at a depth of 15'.

excellent, it is worth noting for those not familiar with Billy Chinook that it does not have the extra 25 kokanee limit; they are part of the 5 fish trout limit...also fishing in the Metolious Arm requires an extra Tribal permit. Always check the regs!
