Kingsley Res or Hagg Lake?

thinking of getting my dads boat and heading out with a friend so she can get her 1st trout. I am in troutdale and they havent stocked north fork yet and want to use the boat. how is Kinglesy res near hood river? it will be stocked this week with 5000. i know hagg has been stocked just not sure if i want to drive out there. they are both about a little over an hour away. i kinda like the sound of kinglsey cuz its small, not sure if i can use a elec motor though....
any help would be greatful.

Hagg has been stocked but reports of catching are slow.
I may hit it tomorrow just to get some sun if it comes out...

Kingsley is decent size.. I don't think motors were used when I was there last.... fyi the place is a dirt bike and 4wheeler mecca. If you are staying the night join the partying as there will be a lot of it..

Yep; I don't care for Kingsley for the reasons stated above.

On NFR, there is an incoming creek on the north side that has plenty of trout...without stocking. You can get to it by motoring your boat under the highway. Plus, you can use whatever motors you want to. Rainbow colored Rooster Tails killed 'em for my bro-in-law and I on the season opener some years back.
