Been in kind of a funk lately. I've lost the last 8 fish in a row! Went out yesterday and went 0 for 4. First 2 I lost were nice summer steelies and the last 2 were nice springers. Not quite sure what is up with me? I can find and hook em, I just can't freaking land em lately! :/

Just keep at it and you will start hooking up and forget all about the bad streak.

We all have those streaks from time to time but perseverance will be rewarded.

Here you are complaning about not landing when so many others can't hook up.Think you should just be happy hooking up Brandon and you will start landing again soon

I can't help you out on the catching part, but you are already way ahead of us on the hookups! If I get a real hookup I am super stoked, if I lose it, oh well... At least you're doing something right and it'll get you fish eventually.

I had a day like that where I was losing fish like crazy not too long ago. It is awesome you are getting into the fish though. All it takes is one fish to break the funk

It is fishing not catching, sounds like you are doing a good job of fishing so enjoy that, catching is the bonus and it will back to you soon.

The next one will come right to the bank this year. It's amazing on how these fish can spit a hook... or 3 hooks on my lures. I would rather get hook ups then to be sitting 7 feet aaway from 5 steelies and 1 nook! Casting everything you have at them, and they wont bite. They werent scared or spooked... we tossed anything from 1/4 spoons to 2/5oz spoon to (#2-4) spinners... got nada, no striked, nothing at all.

Heck... on the way out of the hole to a different hole... we decided to drop some rocks on them from the bridge... Dropped 1 rock behind them, they didn't spook. Drop a bigger one to the right of them, and they just move to the side 1 foot, Drop a bigger one on the left side.. they don't budge, drop one in front of them and they moved back 3 feet...! err.

but dont get caught doing this, i did it one time and the stater almost nailed me for harrasing the wildlife. my argument was if you want to give me a ticket for this then you better be giving every parent a ticket that you see their children skipping rocks into the river.....

Yeah true that, I was with 2 friends and they just kinda don't give a ----. I was not the one that threw them because, i am just the type of guy that likes to leave the wildlife alone. I tried to get them to stop but they wouldn't, o well they won't do it again.

They were pissed cuz out of 7 fish none would bite, they just don't get steelheading. and fishin in mid june
