Haha so it's the only water that is really fishable with big fish in it... so i hit it 2 times, 1 time this week and 1 time last week.

They are just hatchery trout ofcourse... but they are dumb, easy, and can put up a good fight when u get into a brooder! The tug is the drug, and i just wanted to here my drag sing.

Here you go...

Had 2 others with me, friend Pete lost a nice steelhead on the first cast. Then it was just an all around slaughter fest for me me and Ryan. We realesed plenty more (with the intention of keeping 6) for the smoker.

After that day, i was just thinkin about how fun it was to murder stupid trout, so i went again only this time after a brooder (have never even hooked one). Got to the pond with my buddy Gage. He didn't hook anything and i had some chasers right away.

1 hour later we make out way back to the dock (from the back of the pond) 1rst cast for me and a brooder chases me lure smacked it, swims with it (no time to set hook) and spits it. 20 mins later the fish is back. Same cast, same retreive, diff color lure and he slams it, fights like a lil steel with some jumps and blistering runs. It was fun which is what i was looking for!

Fish measured in at 25"

Too bad i was blinking during the picture. Get your self some Knd sprocket spinners... We outfished everyone there in a matter of 30 minutes with these lures.

Nice!!! I gotta get me some of those spinners.

Nice fish Tanner, i've never been to JC pond but if these rivers don't go down i might have to ! So how do you compare Knd's to Blue Fox's? They look fairly similar.

Nice fish dude!

Strong work!
I was also wondering what the difference is between the sprocket and a blue fox. Look almost identical.

Nice feesh dude!

Yeah, I thought that those were Blue Fox's too. What's the scoop?

Nice fish Tanner! That thing has some shoulders! lol

As far as Knd' Sprocket Spinners, I prefer them over Bluefox. They are similar but I think they weigh more and have better paint. Also are made here in the north west. The owner is a great guy and if your on Facebook you should add them, as he usually does contest every now and then.

Those are the 2 things I don't like about Blue Fox! Even though its the spinner I use the most I would love if they were a little more weighted. and the paint on them is super weak! Comes off super easy. started to like using spinners this year for summer steelhead and was very successful with them will def have to start stocking up on some knds !

I should get some to try and catch the brooders in my pond!

Glad to see there are people out there catching those fish and they aren't just feeding the cormorants by stocking them.
