Plain and simple. On the water at 8:30am off the water by 1:30, we were in no rush. I knew the fishing would be stellar. Well it was...

Caught plenty of healthy native Rainbows ranging from 15-20 inches. Jumped a bunch, dug a bunch, and pulled quite a bit of line.

We also got into a load of big cutties too, ranging from 15-18 inches. This one pulled some line and jumped everywhere, he got tangled in my biddies line while he was on his jumping rampage, it was a mess but got him to the net.

All fish were lip hooked with bait and Spoons, with no bleeders. We caught anywhere from 18-25 of bows and cuts, with some holdover stockers.

It was a native day for us.

Got some sun, saw no eagles or osprey, just some buzzards. 1rst boat on the stretch and first to take out... i love days like this.

I got more pics but they are on my buddies camera. Will try to get them.

WORD: Deodorant will keep the buzzards away!

Those are some beautiful Orygone specimens. Nicely done my friend.

Sounds to me like a nice day on the water!!

Good work rfl!

did you guys get any steelhead that didn't stick?

No steelhead, but im pretty positive i had one hit my knightcrawler. Fishing with bigger hooks was the key to the no gut-hooking. Going to back out tomorrow after wok and see what i can get. I need to get my self a drift boat. I love the way the river changed up.

Nice! This is what im trying to get into. Im pondering a cheap raft.. I could find someone that manufactures inflatable pontoons and design my own frames.
