Didn't work this time; all I caught was a smolt. Lots of them in the river now.
Beautiful day though. Saw one in the net and one in the box. Maybe one more week???

I saw a boat get one downtown Portland whole I was gator fishing, then the smolt were slamming a spinner bigger than them. I caught so many I quit tossing a spinner cuz I felt bad and didn't want to accidentally kill One.

Yea, I saw several smolt floaters drifting by. Willy needs a good flush.
