Help with silvers

With the news of great numbers of Silvers over the falls on the Willamette anyone have any information about when they might be near the Eugene area? I hunt several sections between Eugene and Monroe that are boat access only and like to fish along the way. Any information on what to use and when they'll make their way up here would be helpful.

Hey duck,

Most of those silvers will not make it up the Willy very far. They turn and go up the rivers nearer to the falls like the Tualatin, Yamhill, and Santiam.

When driving around the area you hunt I thought that little river going through Monroe (Shafer creek?) might be good habitat if they can knock out that dam they have there.

Yeah unfortunately those fish don't make it to eugene the majority go up the yamhill
