Couldn't help but do a grip n grin on this one....no clippers today, but we got into quite a few really nice fish. I had another break me off next to the boat that was in the teens...a lot of fun on an 1141....
BTW, for all those concerned, if you look closely, you can see the water still dripping off my hand from the fish. The angle also makes it look like the fish was against my belly, it wasn't.
This beauty went on his way to do his thing....

Great day on the river and that buck is AWESOME!!!

Nice fish!

Looks like the Umpqua! ;)

I dont think you will get any grief on that release pic. Pretty fish man.

Length x Length x Girth x 0.0007 will give a very close approximation of weight...

@ 38.5" X 21" = 21.789lbs

I guessed between 19-21 when I lifted him for the pic.....

I'd be grinnin too, good job guys!

Nice fish man!!!

Nice!!! What a beast! I missed my opportunity today, had a fish in the teens work me for a bit and jump 2 feet in the air and sling my hook. Pretty disappointing but i'll keep at it!

Nice fish!! It's a pig!!!

Holy crap batman!! Hell of a fish right there!! I keep staring.

On a side note, It's pretty sad that people have to defend their pictures...

Thanks Jeanna. You will have to drag your boat down there with us. Easy float with LOTS of action

I would absolutely love to. Just say when.

Wow, there are some big fish down there! Nice work!

The funny thing is when side-drifting, the man on the sticks is the one fishing....I was just the lucky jerk on the other end of the line. I did take the sticks so my partner could get up front and put him on a fish though....

Thanks Kevin, what an awesome moment watching that bad boy swim out of my hand and into the river where he belonged...

That is the 3rd steel over 38" that I have been lucky enough to unbutton and watch swim away...they have come about 6 years apart....Feb, 2000 White River (washington) March 2006 Kilchis, and this one.
