bran_man said:Well it depends on what kind of water you're going to be fishing. both tactics are deadly effective still. I was hooking fish on both ways yesterday... for me personally, this time of year: roe is the way to go! Ha ha
bran_man said:Yeah all the fish were really aggressive and seemed to be starving for just about everything! Ha ha. I think they haven't been eating very much cause the warm low water has been messing with them. and the water change was like flipping a switch back on on their brains or something. ha ha it was some pretty awesome action!

That big rain on monday probably brought them up and they were hungry! I was bouncin corkies/yarn and a little row on a 3 ft. leader and they were slammin it. Best day of steelhead fishing i've had - at least in such a short time. It was pretty insane actually, i fished for a little less than 4 hours and i finished with the same slinky/swivel i started off with and only lost 2 hooks- 1 to a fish. Thats bouncin off the bottom too - i usually rig up 10 to 15 times- crazy, huh? The fishin gods were smilin down that day.
