ill be leaving from Eugene any one els off, or have some good ideas where to head to??? im thinking the slaw since its close and im trying to learn it but any info would be great!

Dang ill be doing a late start on the 11th.... I think a lot of the rivers in our area will be shaping back up if the ran will hold off a bit more. slaw would prob be a good choice i think. should be some fish in there somewhere ha ha. give us a report if you decide to go out! :)

slaw might be pretty muddy due to slides up high but thats never stopped me before. If I was fishing this weekend it would be on a smaller system either north out of corvallis or south out of wolf creek

if i knew where the places were to fish in them systems id be all over it might just hit the slaw and poke around the fork or walk the hiking trail and see what i can find up that way if it leads me along the river....

or what ever side looks the cleanest lol

lake creek would be the cleanist for that area.Would fish up around green creek area just before deadwood.North fork alsea should be fishing good also.If not wanting to tagg any fish the smith.Should be in great shape and I know for sure fish in thier.Fish from the falls to doe creek bridge.

I might be out there monday as well lol. It'll be my first time fishing Lake Creek.

Hopefully everyone and there momma dont have the same plans.

lol lets hope not! i dont take up to much room lol

Wishful thinking! :D

fished slaw Sunday morning and smith in the afternoon.Caught couple cutties and lost 1 coho at the bank on the smith.Good tides later this week and another storm system so next weekend and from then on out should be steelhead on.Hopefully my predictions are correct as I want to start getting into some winters without a 100 mile drive one way!!!

well i lost my first hook up of the year on lake creek below dead wood about a mile, wached a guy get schooled by one on his fly rod on a drift boat... took him a ways into his backing and they could not get in under control in time and it took him into some brush and lost it heard of 2 banked on lake creek and 3 steelies and a coho on the slaw so there there but still a bit early. o yah and i lost count of the cutties.
