Does anybody know if there is any good fishing yet? We've been fishing the Expo Ponds for a few days and are thinking about heading to Emigrant for some Trout.

Nothing? Hmm... Weird... We aren't planning on going today... Just sometime within the next week. One response would be nice.

1/3 of a juicy Nightcrawler on a size 2 Owner Hook with no weight.

Use this setup on any new Trout water, a fish is used to seeing a meal with no resistance, and free falling looks extra natural. Even if you are in 30-40ft of water.

Howdy A&J, :)

I wood give Lake Selmac a try. It's been reel good fishin' bedore in the past. I don't know fer sure about today. Try some nightcrawler with a sliding sinker above 18" of leader (small white marshmallow above hook shank will allow bait to rise a little from bottom)...or power eggs, or a Rapala lure, in the image of bluegill, perch, bass, trout.

Have a wonderful Adventure...

You might have to deal with the fact that you might not get a response everytime to something you post!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not everyone know everything!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is a "chillaxed" forum....get used to it..

PS these are the months where a lot of species don't bite everyday!!!!!

We were at the Expo yesterday, that's what everybody was using and they were catching fish like crazy. So, we'll stick with that bait. Thanks!
