Not at all just be sure to clean them well no butter! Last year I boiled them whole!

Oh good to know. Ive only had fresh crad during the fall salmon season and its pretty bland just by its self.

I'm pretty sure they're referencing crab butter, not actual butter. Crab butter is the fatty yellow stuff in the Shell that some people eat and consider a delicacy, but it also absorbs toxins. When toxin levels are high, it's recommended to NOT consume the butter, but rather just the meat.
