Good bank spots in Eugene/Springfield?

I've read on here people have done well catching summers in the town run. Where could I try for them? Thanks!

I am not sure about the townrun, but I have seen a lot of Steelhead holding near the rocks just downstream of the park in Springfield on Mill Street (I used to work in Springfield but the name of that stupid park is completely eluding me right now).

Good luck wherever you end up,

EJ

We are lucky to have a pretty nice bike path system that runs along the river almost all the way through town so there is a lot of bank access via bike path and all the city parks. They acclimate the fish from Clearwater to VRC. Go have fun.

Friends dad caught two nice summers the other day down by delta sand and gravel underneath the belt line bridge. If you have waiters you can work pretty far downstream from there fishing the bank. There's also island park in Springfield with good bank access, but again waiters will be the way to go.

Thanks so much!
