Any of you trout guys know the predominant forage in the central coastal lakes, like Woahink, Siltcoos, and Munsel?
The lakes where I used to live were primarily thread fin shad and pond smelt, with far less insect forage. I know most of my local lakes are full of planters, but I'm targeting the holdovers that have adapted to life in lakes. Just trying to match my techniques to what's happening in these beautiful lakes.
