I've been privleged to have held, some high-end bamboo fly rods in my time (thanks to a wonderful client). But this is TRULY AMAZING CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!!!



P.S. It's on my Christmas wish list...hint, hint. Doesn't your unOFFicial Mayor, deserve a bonus this year? :lol:

Indeed. I'm kind of thinking now that a Jeweler/Silversmith, teamed up with a rod builder on this. But both are expert level!

Wow! Although I'd love to own a bamboo rod someday, I don't think I'm ready yet. I broke my cheap graphite fly rod last summer when I fell down a cliff and I don't think I would have been able to live myself if it had been a valuable bamboo one made by a master craftsman.
