Fishing around Portland or Vancouver area next week

Hello, new member here.
I am going to be visiting my daughter mid next week for a week from Texas. I do flyfish in my local waters, and tried fly fish aroud Portland some years ago with no luck whatsoever.
I am hoping to get some tips from the members of this forum on what is running now, where, what gear to bring, dos and donts, the drill...

Perhaps if someone is planning to go and does mind me tagging alone, i'd be happy.
