Tried crabbing off the Barview Jetty with one of those castable traps no crab, but a suprise lingcod.:shock: My trap had gotten snagged in some rocks and that ling must have found the steelhead i was using for bait appetizing as it slammed the trap free of the rock and gave me a good fight in. The loop was wrapped all the way around his body.
No pics, sorry, I dont know the regs but I think he was undersized, he was only 15 maybe 18 inches. I let him go, he saved me 7 bucks anyway
No crab at barview but did pretty good at Netarts
