First "limit"

I've only been fishing a little more than a year now--and mostly for trout--so steelhead have been relatively few and far between (3 in all before last Sunday to be exact). But last Sunday I got a chance to try the North Santiam and the stars were apparently aligned on my behalf. The result? 2 Steelhead within a hour or so; both terrific fighters and both very tasty. Here's a picture taken shortly after I landed the second.

hey awsome man but I hate to tell you I dont think that is a limit for thier.I might be wrong as I dont fish thier but believe all willamette tribs above falls is 3 steelies.No matter what great job couple pretty hens looks like

The limit is 3, as dti says, in the Willy zone. Shoulda kept at it and the dream (of mine anyway) could have come true.

I got my first limit a month ago...sweet deal.

Turns out those other guys are right though...you robbed yourself of one and coulda kept fishin'!

Nice fish! Keep in mind that steelhead will keep coming to you now, and augest looks to be heating up once again. Keep gettin out there. I picked one up today too.
