First catch of 2021!

I am new to the PNW and loving the fishing out here. Would love if I can get a positive identification on this guy. Few guys at the river said it was a nice Chinook but I feel it’s more like a steelhead..

Nice job! Definitely a steelhead. Chinook have black gums.

Thanks guys! Threw a couple fillets on some cedar and in the Camp Chef... Boy was it delicious. I can get used to this.. so nice to catch a fish and have multiple meals out of it.
