Finally , S. Santiam starts producing for me again

Hit the river today around 8 00am.

Fished right below wiley cr , there were only 3 of us below Wiley and about 10 or so above. Up above us was on FIRE today tons of fish hooked and landed from 8am - 10am. I hooked 2 and landed 1 both steelhead chose to go and bury there nose behind a rock. The guy that was directly above me politely walked over with a nett in his hand andd netd it for me.

Man some people on the River are just cool.

Nice! They recycled an S-Ton of fish on tuesday, so I'm not surprised they're stacked up there. I lost two steelhead and one springer on Wednesday doing the lower float from pleasant valley down. Super low levels right now though, never taken my boat down it that low, haha live and learn, was barely doable, probably isn't now.

My daughter and I have been here a few times the past few weeks. We typically stay right at Wiley creek. She caught here first stealhead last Saturday. We love it there.
