I have tied up a dozen new steehead/salmon flies (streamer and screamers) I want to try out. So I went down to MP 20 to my easy acess spot.
It was 28*, the lot and every thing else was covered with frost. I have the dextarity of a wet mop and rocks leading down to waters edge appeared to be icey. So I decided to not risk a broken bones and headed for home. I stopped in Banks for foot long SubWay instead.
The weather WILL warm up and even if it rains I will be safer for lumpy old me to hit the river again.
I guess I will just have to think up and tie up more flys.
Maybe als I need to learn how to tie some trout flies. Spring can't be to far away.
