Does this bass make my SRC look small?

[MENTION=12590]GoBlueFan[/MENTION] and I headed to Siltcoos on 11-9 to search for the elusive coho salmon. He got us started with a 10" perch that I will happily put into some jambalaya tomorrow, then I hooked and lost what was either a jack or large SRC, then I put a nice 15" SRC into the cooler and soon after a nice coho rolled near the boat...heading up Fiddle Creek Arm, a big coho took down GoBlue's spinner and broke the surface so we got a look but it never turned to set the hook, just as he grabbed the rod it was gone...

...top of Fiddle Creek, I took down my largest bass ever, a 3# large mouth that makes the 15" SRC look sort of scrawny...

he won't be eating anymore baby coho coming down from Fiddle Creek!

later we got totally drenched but did get to troll right into a perfect rainbow arch, we just never found the pot of silver we hoped for...

Nice bass .i had a nice take down by rocky point today it was gone as soon as it started

cocktail sauce heated up with TryMe Tiger sauce for the fish.
ketsup mixed with Sambal Oelek chili paste for the taters.

I made jambalaya last night for the first time in decades, how funny.
 
looks like 5#s to me. :D
 
jambalaya and cajun bass strips (panko and seasoned bread crumbs, cajun seasoning- egg wash and coated then pan fried in light olive oil)...
