Looking for some impute on some small creeks any one fish the long tom out past venita or the upper end of lake creek by the lake i want to get into some small water trout with my ultra light spin rod and fly rod any info would be great

I don't have any personal experience with those areas but i have heard good things. Picture on the wall at triangle lake convenience store had a picture of the biggest cutthroat I've seen in oregon that was caught from lake creek. If your up for the drive the creeks above dorena have a lot of good cutthroat and some really picture perfect small stream fishing. It's all native catch and release but it's a lot of fun!

Salmon trout steelheader has a great article on cutthroat fishing on the middle fork in the current issue. Definitely something to check out.
