Coos Bay crabbing is still good

Went on 1/31. Great trip. Caught 20 total. I kept 12 and my buddy kept 8. Chicken for bait, and left it down for about 2 hours. we pulled twice between fishing the jetty. Great times.

excellent, just for reference, CoosBay is not covered by the latest, hopefully short, closure...I'm seriously jealous of those tasty looking crabs...

Yea, it seems inside the Bay is still open, which is good because that's where I crab.

I got 1 small ling cod. He was only 19" - just 3" shy of being legal. I love how they fight.
