Cold rising river.

Finally got a chance to take the (New to me) boat out yesterday. The river was on the rise due to snow melt and was COLD...The fish were very lethargic and the bite was soft. We side drifted yarnies and/or bait. Went 2-3 and missed a couple as well.We forgot to bring a net, but with the cold water the fish seemed to cooperate once hooked and played...

Yes, threaded yarnies.....I focused on rowing as I'm pretty new to the whole side drifting thing and its better to have 2 lines fishing then it is to have three lines almost fishing....I did get out and do a bit of fishing from the bank but missed the only taker....
