Plunked this cabela's tagged 3lb 16incher hatchery rainbow on 5/4. contest goes until 7/7 so get out to Hagg lake to catch them! Only 10 to 15 trout tagged in Hagg lake out of 1500 fish that were planted in 100+ lakes in 22 states for the contest.....catch dinner and a prize. Good luck my fellow fisherman! Yes chrisohm your right! I registered the night before I went fishing 05/04/13. It is necessary to register before fishing for the grand prize but as I read I believe for the sponsor prizes its not necessary as you can catch a tagged fish then register. I would say for those of you planning on fishing any of the lakes in the contest in the next two months to go on cabela's and register before you go to be safe! Be sure when you register if you don't want unwanted emails that you uncheck the sponsor email boxes.
