Buoy 10 tips for Nooks

Not a bad article. The most important thing in there was the information regarding the tides. To be successful you have to know how to fish the tides. It's also important to have a keen weather eye and be very respectfull of the water out there it can turn ugly in a hurry. I've seen flat ocean days and then cross the bar to come into a river that is currning up waves in all directions. Be safe out there. One other note the fish aren't in the river yet!

You are correct there are probably a few fish in the river. When I crossed the bar last night at around 5pm (high slack tide) , and came by buoy 10 there wasn't one boat out there fishing. I sure don't want folks here to get the wrong idea that it's time to run to buoy 10 yet. Wait until the last two weeks of August and they should be in. They are starting to bunch up a few miles out past the CR Buoy. I hope folks get a chance to make it down and land some of those bright fish.

Thanx 4 posting this link, as a newbie to the area I myself soak up all this type of valuable information .
