Boiler Bay

just got back- got skunked. our buddy got 3 black sea bass and gave them to us. havent had those yet, am hoping they are good eats.

How big were the bass? We are heading to Barview this week. I ended up with a couple last trip.

the one i would guess at about 2.5 the smaller was about 1.75 - 2 and the trout was 1.5 ish.

boiler bay?! do you fish at the viewing area? i've fished boiler bay a couple times at the viewing area between two rocks off the right side of the cliff. Didn't do too good those days. Where was he catching sea bass and also what type of bait?

yep right at the viewing area- on the north side. he caught them farther out ont he rocks, not sure how far he went as i didn't follow him. he was using a jig that looks like a little fish and one hook above it.
