Only when they are not renting them. From the website:
  • From October through April, you can use only a private fishing boat with horsepower less than 3.0 and shorter than 14 feet (17 feet for canoes and kayaks) for the purpose of angling only. Private watercraft, such as recreational boats and paddleboards, are not allowed on the lake anytime during the year.

Is it only me or is it a poorly worded regulation?

Makes perfectly good sense to me.

That reg is annoying and discriminatory. I bought an SUP specifically with scotty rod mounts built into it for trolling. It works great for trolling, and I can stand and cast. What universe are they living in where they can tell you that one paddle craft is legal for fishing, but another paddle craft is not?

Ok great, help me out. My SUP is my "fishing boat", can I use it in October? What's the difference between a recreational boat and a fishing boat?

Tried it today only got a few very small bass and bluegill:(

If you fish from a SUP I would call the parks department there and check. No one here can no for sure and the "I was told on the internet" defense has yet to work :)

Did you catch the crappie on the pier or on a boat?

That was a joke, you will have a crappie time finding crappie there
