Here's my biggest one so far this year, she busted out of the water and slammed my wakebait! Had a 10" measuring stick no scale, measured 23-24" big ol fat thing.i could put my entire fist in her mouth without touching the sides, and I'm a big guy too!

Another picture of the same fish but used my size 13 Romeo for comparison.

This ones a bit of a dink, but I found it interesting that it had these fresh, still a little bloody tallon marks on both sides of its body!

Saw at least 2 dozen fishing cruising the shoreline lookin for dinner, at one point had 6 swimming behind my wakebait just looking at it... Dumb fish wouldn't bite it!

they eat lots of nutria :)

Crazy cool, those talon marks are rad.

I should have known! Seems like the Nutria would be good pond nutrients for your ecosystem there.

Best,

Best,

I shot over 30 in January! Hope california is treating you well.

Troutmasta, planning on throwing one of your spinners on Saturday will let you know if they work :)

So far so good and it isn't even nook time yet, which is play time for me. Found some steel and got an upcoming striped bass trip planned with a guide and new buddy to get it dialed in. Maybe even will try Clear lake soon for bass too. Would be cool to get a hog like yours or bigger!

Hope you can keep those beavers out of your farm as well buddy.
