Looked out the window today on the Max on the way into Portland and just kept looking into Beaverton creek. I cross this creek regularly and always wonder if there is fish in here... I know there is not a lot of access because it running through the densest population around but there is a few spots I could get access and wanted to know if you can fish it and if there is fish in there?

Also random unrelated really want to fish the ponds in rd bridge park...

As far as Rodd Bridge Park goes, no. No fish in the ponds that I know of. But, you can fish the creek (Rock Creek) that runs by there and the Tualatin River runs right next to it too.

As far as Beaverton Creek goes, I am not sure if there are fish in it or not, but I wouldn't doubt that there are. :D I have gone fishing in the various creeks around here at different locations (secret locations!!) and caught some nice trout. My largest from these waters was around 10" ...... so far .....

Good luck!!

My main concern with trying it is access but there is a few spurs I can get to it and give it a shot.

You also need to realize that it currently is not open for fishing. The regs state that the Tualatin River opens for trout fishing on May 26th. that goes for any and all of the Tualatin River's tributaries, unless other wise stated under the special regs.

So you will have to wait until the end of may before you can get a line wet. :D

What access points are you thinking about?

Well I know I have to wait. Gives me time to find good access points. There ate a few I know of though I have not stopped to look yet such as cornelius pass, 185th and some other spits that looked promising around willow creek along the max line.
