Anyone want to go to Diamond?

I do intend on making a multi day trip to Diamond Lake and that area for fishing. I figured that it would be a good opportunity to see if fellow OFF'ers would like to come up for a day or two and meet up, share some good campfire stories, and some good fishing.

So I am looking to set up a trip in the last weekend of Sept or in the first two weekends of Oct. Hopefully if people would like to come we can pick a good weekend that hopefully will work for everyone.

Personally I will leave the Friday after work and set up camp and spend Saturday and Sunday along with part of Monday before returning home. So if yall want to go please post a response and any suggestions that may help if we have multiple people wanting to come up... Even if they just want to come up for a day or the full weekend.

Wish I could. I've wanted to make it out there for a while but work and home responsibilities are taking up all my time during that period.

Prime salmon season, count me out. Next summer I'm going to do a trip though right after the ice melts.

aww jeanna... its better in sept and oct rather than just after ice out... however I do want to ice fish it.

Probably, but trout is just something I do a handful of times a year when there's nothing else to do, or when I'm camping, and then I'm usually after Kokanee.

Another update.. Looks like I will probably be bringing a canoe with me giggity

Also I have a preference for first two weekends in October as preferencial for me.
