So I ran a preview of most of the stops this week already and had some good success.
Here's the plan. Leave Portland early and shoot up to Mt Hood. Hit Trillum, Clackamas, Timothy, Harriet and finish off at Faraday(and any other trouty looking water).
This will be a hit it and quit it speed fishing run, spending no more than an hour or so at each location(depending on the fishing).
I had a blast soloing this but would love a fishing buddy if anyone is interested.
I have thursday and friday off, I'd prefer thursday to beat the weekenders crowding out

Shame we don't live closer. I have Thursdays and Fridays off as well, every week. I work the night shift so it would be Wednesday and Thursday nights off but they are considered Thurs and Fri. Would be fun to try something like that sometime. I guess I got a way to do something similar to that over here with a buddy should he have the time off from fighting fires.

I used to start at Clear Lake then stop at Timothy and finish off at Harriet. Later I would by pass Timothy and drive straight through to Harriet. I decided that too many stops took too much out of the fishing time and if the bite held up at one spot then I would stay. You have good intentions but I think your plan requires a little too much drive time. Consider making two trips out of that plan.

I would rather just hike and fish around Timothy. The inlets to Timothy can be very productive water. Camp, hike and fish. Too bad I work tuesdays and my favorite place for camping and fishing is Barview.

Yeah way to much drive time. Making two trips are your best bet. More time with a line in the water means more chances at a fish, they will be around. With that much driving involved you could be missing the hottest bite of your life time, or the biggest fish.

Save all the stops in one day for scouting trips when your other places die down or when you get bored of them.

Well Faraday is off the table anyway because they're shutting it down for a much needed draining and re-channeling. I also picked up a seat in a friends boat on Thursday so I guess I'll re-tool the trip and plan a mellower one for the future
