Made it down on Saturday with hundreds of my new close friends?
We were lucky enough to connect on our first two chances, both on plugs...I got the buck, Jim got the hen...off the water in time to drive back to Eugene and catch the second half of the Duck game.

Nice river those south coast rivers got rocks up here the rivers are sand! I have heard of a way to get to the mouth of it and fish up! If anyone wants to PM me please do. Caught my first 2 20 lb nooks there although it was late in the season behind the hatchery!

I walked the bank where you took the picture last Saturday and some knucklehead had dumped what looked like a huge pile of elk bones in the water right there. But it is "Elk" River, I guess. I hope to get back after this rain since it had dropped quite a bit since when you were there. Ought to be fresh fish again.
